i never really like changes. i never really like it when things suddenly happens dat do not go according to plan. maybe cos i do not adapt well or maybe cos i just like things to stay de way it is.

its funny how things you learn in theory happens before your eyes. well dats where theory comes from in the first place rite? but to see it playing out in front you just leaves u dazzled. its so surreal.

i like otia... some parts of it at least. I like the chapter on power and authority. it says that power is when A can make B do things that B otherwise would not do. power can be seen in all sorts of relationship, with parents, friends, colleagues, teachers, superiors.
but how does power come abt?
1. knowledge
2. leverage
3. dependance

i love the phrase
with knowledge comes power
which is very true. esp in terms of the principle n agent theory. the knowledge about the person you want to control or to manipulate. its so easy to make the person do ur bidding becos u know the person's strength and weaknesses. you use it as a leverage to get what you want. you play the cards rite. it makes it so much easier dat the person is so dependent on you. becos you know that the person know his so dependent on you and can't do wifout you that you can ensure he has no choice but to listen to you. dats y in pmkg you do not depend on just one supplier.

n now de question would be how to apply it in life? how do you prevent this in your relationship with ur superiors and colleagues or friends? how do you ensure that ur trust do not get taken advantage of and you dun get manipulate by the ppl close to you? wat do u do when it happens to u?

do we not trust ppl den? do we try to take advantage of ppl first before we are taken advantage of? or do we just simply let them do it? can we just walk away? pretend nothing happen? where are the solutions to this theories? do we just keep playing the prisoner's dilemma game forever? or haf i jus not read finish the chapter?!!

haiz.. do u haf the power?
